Zen Perfect Design is becoming PortIgniter

We’re Changing our Name and our Focus!

Zen Perfect Design is changing. It’s not just the name, but also the services I am focusing on. Over the last couple of years, I have been planning a departure from selling source code and pre-canned applications that run on bare metal with distribution through CodeCanyon. This has been in silent motion for about a year now, and I expect to have the new site up and ready by the end of December. So, starting in December, Zen Perfect Design will be permanently shut down and all current links will be redirected to the new site. Redirects will stop completely in March 2026. So what does this mean for the future?

Docker Applications

Coral has been re-branded as Reef and will be sold and distributed as a complete, all-in-one Dockerized solution. I also have plans to work on a project management application in the vein of Serenity and Entity. Currently, this project is code-named: Catalyst. From the outside, it may not have looked like a lot of progress has been made lately - I have been pretty tied up with work. However, I made quite a bit of progress wrapping up the Atmos design system and building Ivory as my future application framework. Ivory now lives inside a Docker container, packaged up with Redis and MariaDB. This effort will allow me to manage the support lifecycle of my projects much more easily. It also helps to account for the issues that customers run into when trying to install and setup their server for compatability.

Self Distribution

On the application side of the house, this means I will no longer sell my stuff through CodeCanyon. Applications will be licensed under the MIT license, with annual updates and support managed through API keys to pull from the PortIgniter private repository. This will allow me to iterate faster and grow my offerings for the future. My focus has slowly turned to crafting custom images and helping customers migrate applications to containerized workloads. This includes Helm and Kubernetes based deployments. Coral will be removed from the CodeCanyon marketplace in December 2025.

Branching out

There’s a lot more in store, but I will save the rest for our Grand Opening in December. If you’re a current Coral customer and need support, please reach out using the contact form on the site. As with any big transition, I’m sure there will be loose ends to tie up, but my goal is to provide a stellar product with stellar support. I think this move into containerized solutions is the way to go, and I hope to see you guys soon!
